cputool software package provides Utility which manages CPU usage and system load, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cputool
cputool is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cputool package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cputool *
You will get with cputool package name, version, architecture and description in a table
